Woodworking has been a lifelong passion for me—one that began early and has deepened with time. I’m drawn to the quiet focus of the work and to the satisfaction of shaping raw material into something purposeful and lasting. Much of my approach is influenced by time spent outdoors and on the water; sailing, in particular, has taught me respect for materials, precision, and the importance of building things that can endure real use and changing conditions. As a father to three young boys, I’m especially motivated by the idea of making work that lasts—pieces built with care, integrity, and the hope that they’ll be used, lived with, and passed down for years to come.
